Beautiful Dancer!

I don't know how to not show you every single portrait from this session. I offered some free session for portfolio building in the dancer field. This ballerina was the first to sign up. We had the best session that lasted well over an hour. She was fun and so talented. Many of my friends know that I took ballet from http://www.grebeldance.com/ for two years before having my son, so dance is very special to me. This was a dream come true to apply my love for photography and my love for dance in one session.

I couldn't have asked for a better dancer to start my dancer portfolio. She has been accepted to the summer program at Birmingham Southern and I am sure has a career ahead of her if that is what she wants. I miss taking dance, maybe one day I will will return when my babies are older.

Because I want Spring to be here!!

I am tired of the cold unpredictable weather! One day it is nice and I think "Spring is here" then the next weekend I am nursing a cold and freezing! I decided to show a few butterfly pictures from our overnight trip to Chattanooga last fall. These are in the roof top butterfly garden at the Aquarium. Don't these pictures help you imagine that spring is just around the corner?

Chili Boy!

I have been put on bedrest for a few days until the doctor can see me tomorrow and we had a great friend offer to make us dinner. Aren't friends the greatest?! They made an incredible pot of chili for us and as you can see by the pictures, Elijah enjoyed dinner! Don't you just love messy baby faces? I wanted to share! Thank you my friend for taking care of us!

This family really loves each other!

This family really loves each other and you can tell from the great portraits from our session. When the tickle fingers came out laughter filled the air. And I love to see parents really in love and they are in love! The mom was pregnant with her baby while I was pregnant with my son. We were coworkers at the time and I am sad to say it was the first time I was able to meet her children. The big brother made me laugh several times with his wittiness and who couldn't love the adorable hair on little brother!

Sweet Family!

I had the pleasure capturing this sweet family. The big brother was so much fun and may even be headed to be a model. He really enjoyed our session. The younger sister is so precious. Once she warmed up to me, we had a great time. Check our her beautiful curls! It is the best part of my job to get to know wonderful families like this!

Talk about pressure!

This beautiful senior has plans to be a photographer one day. During I session I learned she also has an aunt that is a photographer. Wow, that means a lot of pressure to get great portraits. This was such a fun session. This young lady has everything going for her and it was a blessing to me to get to know her and try to capture what a special person she is! Check out her beautiful eyes!
